The Delicious Grimace Dahl

Watching The Delicious Miss Dahl at the moment. Hmm. As a Cookery programme, i actually prefer this to any other right now. After all, following Heston's far fetched creations on 'Feasts' are out of my cullinary reach.
But Sophie tries to be so homely. Is that wrong of me to say that? I'll put it a different way. She's all made up in a twee sort of way. On the first edition of the series, she wore a top that would have made Hollie Willoughby on Dancing on ice blush. I cringed when Sophie said that she were putting the breasts in the pan (tho i watched intensly at the outcome). She has, in fact, cleaned up her act in the recent editions, althouth her 'Melancholy' titled programme made me cut my wrists rather than cut a chocolate cake.
Chef Dahl?
I dont watch this programme for her expertise in the kitchen, in fact, you'd wait all day for a side of Julienne peppers. The truth is my wife loves it. I just wish that she didnt make her life so perfect. Maybe it is, i dunno, but why flaunt it while i tuck into a kebab and look forward to mundane life the next day. I bet Jamie Cullum orders A Love Song Masala, followed by A Blissful of Chapatis with a side order of Deliciously Cheesy chips and a carton of success when he gets home. Im sure its a glass of vino to follow.
Bitter? Me? Go on then, mines a Tetleys Dahl.
